Pan-Asian Survey on the Family

      Modeled on the 2006 EASS family module, social surveys carried out in Thailand (funded in FY 2009 by Seoul National University), Vietnam (FY 2010), Qatar (FY 2011), and India (FY 2012).

      The results will be compared against the 2006 EASS data to complete a comparative analysis of the family and attitudes in 8 Asian countries.

      In FY 2008 and FY 2009 the questionnaire was adapted to the south-east Asian context and translated in Thai and Vietnamese, and the Thailand social survey was completed by the Chulalongkorn University team.
